An ‘Electric chain Saw’ is a powerful, handheld, mechanical saw which cuts with a set of sharp teeth attached to a rotating chainsaw that runs along a guide bar of a machine. It is widely used in cutting or sawing of trees, woods, tree felling, harvesting of firewood and many other activities.
In Chainsaws machine a long chain that runs along a guide bar has sharp curved teeth attached all along the chain that cut repeatedly through the material leaving sawdust. This technique is used as a tool in chainsaw mills. Some specialized chainsaws are used for cutting concrete or asphalt.
There are various parts in Chain Saw machine.
Engine: The powerful Engine in the chainsaw makes the cutting faster. An electric motor is driven by an electric power cord with a rated Input Power by 2,000W. These have special engines that are designed in such a way that they may be operated in different positions, upside-down, or tilted 90 degrees.
Guide Bar: A long bar on which a chainsaw runs is typically 16 to 36 inches in length. The guide bar has a round end made of alloy-steel with high wear-resistant.
Gauge: The lower part of chainsaw runs in the gauge; here lubricating oil is taken by the chain to the other end. This is an important mechanism.
Grease Holes: Through this hole, grease is filled in a small tank which keeps the sprocket well lubricated.
Cutting Chain: The each segment in the chain has small curved sharp cutting teeth. The teeth are made of chromium-plated steel that is attached on either side & one on the top of a chainsaw.
